Intercorrelated random fields with bounds and the Bayesian identification of their parameters: Application to linear elastic struts and fibers

Many materials and structures consist of numerous slender struts or fibers. Due to the manufacturing processes different types growth natural fibers, their mechanical response frequently fluctuates from strut strut, as well locally within each strut. In associated models is often represented by a string beam elements, since use conventional 3D finite elements renders simulations computationally inefficient. The parameter input fields are ideally such that local fluctuations between individual strings accurately captured. goal this study capture these in several intercorrelated bounded random fields. Two formulations describe intercorrelations field, case without any intercorrelation, investigated. As only few sets available (due time constraints supposed experimental techniques), identification fields' parameters ill-posed. A probabilistic approach based on Bayes’ theorem employed treat ill-posedness, involved uncertainties.
